Chinese Dynasty Comparison Charts

So, I realized after I got home this weekend that we somehow forgot to include the Song Dynasty in our Chinese Dynasty charts. I'm going to have my second period mentor take care of that one tomorrow and finish typing it up, but until then here are two great websites I've found that both have informative charts on the Chinese Dynasties:

Extra Credit Film Reviews

For our final extra credit film reviews, I will allow you to view one of the following films at home. After viewing the film, you should complete a film review and turn it in by Monday, May 10th. The films available for review are:

Unit 5 Test Date Change

A reminder, the unit 5 test (multiple-choice section) will be moved to Monday, May 3rd. The comparative essay will still be sent home on Friday, April 30th to be turned in on Monday, May 3rd (all periods).

Unit 5 Exam

The unit 5 exam will be on Friday, April 30th. The exam will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in class and a take-home change-over-time essay that will be due on Monday, May 3rd. As this test will cover less content (chapters 28 - 32) than previous tests and you will have just taken the practice AP exam the weekend prior, there will be no Saturday study session. There will however, be morning and afternoon study sessions the week of the test at the following times:

Tuesday, April 27th: 7:45am - 8:15am & 3:45pm - 4:15pm

Wednesday, April 28th: 7:45am - 8:15am & 3:45pm - 4:15pm

Practice AP Exam

There will be a practice advanced placement world history exam on Sunday, April 25th in the library at 12:45pm. The test will take approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes. Please plan on having your parents pick you up around 4:00pm.

6th Period in the Courtyard

6th period enjoying the weather and working on Hitler/Mussolini profiles in the courtyard.

Extra Credit Film Screening

There will be an extra credit film screening on Thursday, April 15th from 3:45 to 6:15. We will be watching the Pianist to supplement Thursday's lecture on the Holocaust. I hope many of you can make it. This is my favorite extra credit film that I show... with the exception of the Message.
